About Our Products

Our vinyl fencing is manufactured from high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) combined with specially formulated additives that give it superior strength, flexibility, and weather resistance. Unlike standard PVC, our fencing material includes titanium dioxide (TiO2) which provides UV protection to prevent yellowing, fading, and degradation from sun exposure β€” critical for Southwestern States and high-altitude sun conditions.

Not when you purchase quality vinyl. Our products are manufactured with UV inhibitors built directly into the material, which prevents ultraviolet degradation and keeps your fence looking clean and bright for decades. Cheaper vinyl products on the market can yellow β€” ours won't. White vinyl fence products from our supplier carry a manufacturer's lifetime transferable warranty against abnormal discoloration.

A properly installed vinyl fence is designed to last a lifetime. Unlike wood, vinyl will not rot, warp, splinter, or rust. It won't need to be painted, stained, or sealed. Under normal conditions, you can expect your fence to remain structurally sound and looking great for 30+ years. That's why most quality vinyl fencing comes with a lifetime transferable warranty.

We stock our most popular styles in White and Tan, which are available for immediate shipment. Khaki and Gray are available as special order colors β€” contact us for current lead times and pricing. Special order colors are a great way to complement your home's exterior or match existing landscaping features. Woodgrain colors are also available β€” contact a sales representative for options.

Yes. Vinyl does become slightly less flexible in colder temperatures, which is completely normal. However, unless it's subjected to an unusual or severe impact, it will not crack or break under normal winter conditions. Our products have high grade impact modifiers in the substrate designed to maintain strength under natural expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes throughout the year. Proper installation β€” especially correct post depth and cementing β€” is key to winter performance.

PVC has a flash point of approximately 900Β°F and does not ignite easily. Vinyl fencing is classified as "Self-Extinguishing", meaning it will not continue to burn once the ignition source is removed. It is considered a fire-resistant fencing option compared to wood.

Ordering & Pricing

Finished Products are pre-configured complete fence styles β€” panels, posts, caps, and accessories bundled together by style, height, and color. They're ideal for homeowners or contractors who want a complete, ready-to-install solution without having to figure out every individual component.

Profiles are individual raw material components β€” pickets, rails, posts, U-channel, and accessories sold separately. This option is best for fence contractors and fabricators who know exactly what they need and prefer to spec their own material list and can cut and route material.

Absolutely β€” that's one of our specialties. We're happy to do a complete material takeoff for your project at no charge. Simply submit a quote request or call us at (208) 987-7179 with your fence layout and measurements. We'll put together a complete material list and pricing so you know exactly what you need before you order. We have sales professionals that have installed fence for years that can walk you through the entire process start to finish.

Yes! We have a dealer pricing program for fence companies, contractors, and distributors who purchase regularly. Visit our Dealer Registration page to apply, or call us to discuss your needs.

Our website is built for a complete self-serve experience β€” you can browse, configure, and add items to your cart entirely on your own without ever having to speak with anyone. When you're ready, simply submit your cart as a quote request and we'll process your order.

Whether you're ordering finished fence styles by height and color, or hand-picking individual profiles and hardware, everything is priced and ready to go online β€” 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you ever do want help β€” a material takeoff, a question about a product, or just want to talk through your project β€” we're always available by phone at (208) 987-7179, email at [email protected], or you can submit a Quote Request and we'll reach out to you. But you'll never be required to call.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and ACH bank transfer.

The upfront cost of quality vinyl fencing is comparable to premium wood (such as clear cedar with proper posts, paint prep, priming, and painting). When you factor in long-term maintenance costs β€” staining, painting, rot repair, and eventual replacement β€” vinyl is significantly more economical over the life of the fence. Vinyl requires virtually zero maintenance beyond an occasional rinse with a garden hose.

Installation

For maximum stability, yes β€” we recommend that posts be cemented in place. Treat vinyl posts the same as you would wood posts. A good rule of thumb is to dig your hole twice the diameter of the post and fill with concrete to within two inches of the top of the hole. If cementing posts is standard practice in your area, do the same with vinyl. Proper post installation is the most important factor in the long-term performance of your fence.

Yes. Installation instructions are available for all of our fence styles. Any customer who purchases from Apex Vinyl Fence is also welcome to contact us with installation questions. Our team includes experienced fence installers who are happy to walk you through any part of the process. Call us at (208) 987-7179 or email [email protected] and we'll help you through it.

Yes, vinyl fence can be installed on sloped ground. The two common approaches are racking (where the fence follows the slope of the ground) and stepping (where the fence is installed in level sections that step up or down). The best method depends on the degree of your slope and the fence style. Contact us and we can advise you on the right approach for your specific project.

Permit requirements vary by city and county. We always recommend checking with your local building department before starting your fence installation. In many areas, residential fences under a certain height do not require a permit β€” but it's always best to verify. HOA rules may also apply if you live in a planned community.

Maintenance & Care

Vinyl fence is extremely easy to maintain. For everyday dirt and dust, a rinse with a garden hose is usually all you need. For tougher stains, a mild soap and water solution applied with a soft brush works well β€” rinse thoroughly afterward. For stubborn marks or graffiti, a pressure washer on a low setting or paint thinner can be used. As a last resort, 400-grit sandpaper can remove spots that won't come off otherwise.

Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.

No β€” that's one of the biggest advantages of vinyl. It never needs to be painted, stained, sealed, or treated. The color is built into the material itself, not applied as a surface coating. An occasional wash is the only upkeep required throughout the life of your fence.

Yes. One of the great advantages of vinyl fencing is that individual components β€” pickets, rails, posts, caps β€” can be replaced independently without affecting the rest of the fence. Contact us with your original part numbers and we can get you the replacement pieces you need.
