What is an agriculture fence?
Installation only: Apex installs agricultural fencing β we don't sell ag materials over the counter. Pick the style(s) below that interest you, send us a few details, and we'll schedule a time to come out and give you a price.
We design and install a wide range of farm and ranch fencing across Eastern Idaho β including woven wire / field fence, no-climb horse fence, hog panel, welded wire and mesh, barbed wire, high-tensile smooth wire, cattle and livestock fence, deer and game fence, cross-fencing, corral and continuous pipe fence, and wood & vinyl post-and-rail. If you run cattle, horses, sheep, goats, or need to protect crops and gardens, we can spec and build the right system for your land.
Common types of ag fencing
Not sure which is right? Select any that interest you below β we'll recommend the best fit for your animals, crops, terrain, and budget when we come out.
Woven Wire & Mesh
Interlocking wire grids β ideal for smaller livestock like sheep, goats, and hogs, and for keeping wildlife out of gardens and crops.
Barbed Wire
Economical and traditional. Stranded lines with sharp points deter cattle and larger livestock from pushing against the fence.
High-Tensile Wire
Strong, stretched smooth wire β cost-effective and long-lasting, great for cattle and horses, often combined with other materials.
Post & Rail
Classic wood or vinyl β highly visible and attractive, a favorite for horses and clean property lines.
Pipe & Continuous (Corral)
Heavy steel pipe and continuous panels β maximum strength for corrals, working pens, and high-pressure livestock areas.
